Here in Harrisburg, NC Hey guys, what's going on? I am down in Harrisburg, NC now and was wondering if there is a lot going on with F bodies in the area. I have a LT1 WS6, 97 model. I have been a member on the site for a couple years, I am from PA.

Check out carolinarides.com . If your from Harrisburg right beside Charlotte you need to check out some out our meets. Will be having one Sept 19th at the Palace. Look in the get together forums over there. Welcome to NC. Btw Eagles or Steeler fan?

No prob hope to see ya there at the meet. My wife's from a small town right outside Pittsburgh. Lil town called Ellwood City so you being a Steelers fan you know how they are up there. She made me get NFL ticket so she can watch the Steelers every Sunday.

Cool, welcome!! I live in Harrisburg, NC too. Our Charlotte F-body Club, www.charlottefbody.com , has a cruise-in right in Harrisburg at the Sonic on 49 every 2nd and 4th Saturday. I'll probably miss it this weekend though since I'll be going to zMax for the NHRA drag racing.

That's the reason I came down when I did, I was at the drag strip all day today for qualifying. It's a really nice facility.
Looks like you get a lot of really nice show quality cars out there! Mine is no show car but it's OK. I like to beat on it and go racing with it
Is there much of a LT1 crowd in the area or is it mostly all LS1 cars?

You'll see all types around here, lots of stangs and even more ricers. Try to get to that meet n Friday night if you can. Should be a good turnout.
Plenty of LS and LT1 cars here.

Yeahhh this is an old post. I am coming down Saturday though, and bringing my LS1 TA with me! Would like to actually meet up this time if you guys are out, I couldn't make it last time.
Got a question also, the last month and a half I have been working out here in PA and I don't want to miss any time when I get down there. Does anyone recommend a certain gym close to Harrisburg? All I know is Peak Fitness down on 49, but I haven't gone in to check it out yet. I will probably be in Harrisburg for 2-3 weeks.

there is also a couple of cruise in's going on sat. 1 at pro dyno, more info if interested on carolinarides.com, and 1 at tubby's in rock hill, info on that one on other website as well.
there are a couple of gyms "out" of harrisburg, with bigger facilities, but you'll have to drive 15 or so minutes.........sportcenter, ymca, etc., both in concord.
