Well back to the topic which was the is car, which someone thought enough of to pay 110k for even with the wrong wheels.
The haters will say the guy who paid stupid money for that has more cash than brains.. while secretly they say man i wish i could have that bad boy..

People used to laugh at Reggie Jackson when he went around vacuuming up COPO camaros in barns and fields in the mid seventies.will these see the same valuations?
IMO no way,but they will (at least) hold their value and appreciate greater than any other collectible fourth gen fbod. They already have actually-show me one SLP car-,LT4 Hawk,SS 10th anni, whatever, even with ultra low miles, that has sold for anything close to msrp in the last five years..
GMMG cars with low miles consistently sell near to,or above original dealer pricing. That's a far cry from the typical SS or TA, which dropped 30 % as soon as the tires hit pavement. Why? because you could go to a network dealer, order a car and have it built to your personal spec, tailor your own h.p upgrade package and it came with full GM warranty as well as emissions compliance. No other company has had that relationship with GM since the first gen hipo dealers days. Bill Thomas,Dana,Gibb,Nickey,Berger, etc all operated in the same fashion as did GMMG,only diff was the cars were shipped directly to GMMG from the plant for build then on to dealers.

Well, I will agree with the principle "it only takes one". It only takes one buyer who perceives the vehicle to have the same value that the seller attributes to it.
It took me 18 months to sell my Comp T/A, but in the end it boiled down to finding the right buyer (or more like the right buyer finding me). I got my price and he got a really nice car.
However, I just wanted to point out that luckily for the Ebay seller, that one right buyer came along. I wasn't sure they would, not in this economy.
