whear to buy lt1 ss intake im just wondering if any one knows whear to buy this part because slp dose not make them any more...
im looking to get a extra one just incase...

Exactly, the Hawk's one is an RK sport POS. I think you can stil buy the filter base piece and tubing that goes after the MAF. As I said before it's the filter cover plate that will be impossible to locate anywhere other than eBay. And then you gotta figure out what your car should have come with stock based on it's build number.
It's been too long and I can't remember but most of the 96's said Z28SS on them. I think some early 97s did too (could be wrong) and then they used the "Camaro SS" cover which is even harder to find.
