Firehawk 117 options
I'm hoping you guys can help me out. My wife has a Firehawk #117 that she got some time back. She hardly drives it and I'm getting tired of moving it in and out of the garage. This leads up to my question. Is there anything special that stands out about this car? I have been thinking seriously about getting rid of it. It has the badges on it and the floor mats to match. We dont use it much but if its something that would gain value later on , I would rather hang on to it.

Sorry about that, the year is a 2001. It has 95K miles on it. It is all stock. It is red with black leather interior.Interior is excellent condition. It has a 6 speed transmission and T-tops. It has the original polished wheels also.
I can e-mail someone the pics, I not sure how to post them. Thanks

Need to know what is listed on the passenger door tag for the second sticker SLP options, such as the 'chrome wheels'.
There's nothing that special about it that will bring any extra value, other than it being a Firehawk optioned car over a standard Formula.
And even tho the miles are low for the year, thats still high for any vehicle & will limit the sell value.
I'd bet yer trade-in value would be so low it'd hurt ya to see it, ...
Edit, Looked it up;
Clean Trade-in = $7175, Ave Retail = $9650
That's NADA, & not considering the Firehawk value adder.
Kbb.com Private Party Sell: Excellent = $7670
Again, no Firehawk adder.
But of course, finding the right buyer at the right time is what it's all about.
Get it listed in many different locations. Craigslist, local newpapers, local car-nut hangouts. Ebay also, but they don't bring good dollar there.
And of course the car forums catering to this crowd.

Hey check out this link and go thru the page links to see the breakdown number on your car. Basically, its pretty rare for the options, down to 1 of 1 in some cases. I think it will appreicate over the time and I would buy if I could, the car looks really good for 95k miles...

So if I am reading the chart correctly it was only 1 of 2 formulas with T-tops and a 6 speed trans. Only 1 of 3 2001 formulas with Dark black interior and the only one with a 6 speed trans. Looks like 1 of 2 2001 formulas with Bright Red exterior?
Which option does it have that makes it 1 of 1?

I know its kind of cheesy, but you are the only Red Firehawk that came with the 6spd and FLOORMATS, lol, but hey, that makes it 1 of 1 with the options.
Its on the 3rd page under...
2001 Formula T-Top Option Breakout by Transmission
Hope I am reading that right?? Maybe I'm not??

Ha,ha, guess I'll have to make note of that. I just put it up for sale a few days ago and the wife is giving me hell about it. I notice there wer only a couple Formulas with black interior and red exterior. I figured this would have been a popular color combination.
