Default SLP/SVE cars in case anyone was were wondering

"We are not printing the birth Certificates and window stickers at this time and don’t know when we will start it back up, due to programming problems with the old system.
No other company can offer them, since we are the builder. So sorry. You can check back on the system further down the road. If you see that it has an order form, then we are up and running again."

yup. been like that for a while now. it's sad they don't support the car that made them who they are today. if not for the Firehawk SLP Never would have molded into SVE and more than likely the SLP would have died with Pontiac in 2002( if not earlier)

Still not producing as of 8/22.2019. I spoke to MaryAnn, she explained that the old system and new system are not compatible so someone would have to manually enter all the information car-by-car. She basically said they're not going to pay someone to do it so I think the birth certificate and sticker program is dead. I told her I'll check back every 6 months. Also, their website, SVECamaro.com doesn't work for automated VIN lookup unless you already have login information and know your password. I tried over a year ago and it didnt work then either so im pretty sure she lied to me when she put me on hold to "talk to the IT guy". New registrations and password recovery dont work as the system is not sending the automated emails with that information. Sorry for the bad news. If anyone has success registering on the website, please let me know.

I wish there was more support for SLP cars. The last F-Bodies were made 18 years ago, and replacement parts are nonexistent. They should have a kickstarter or something to fund a short run of SLP restoration parts.

I just called SVE to get my birth certificate, they told that they do not do that anymore. Maybe if we all get together and send a signed email to SVE them might reverse the decision

Thanks

The support and desire is out there from owners, but none from SLP or related. Many have tried to push Dave H. formerly of SLP to no avail.

You don't think that is will work if we all get together?

I'm all in for supporting, but I'm just saying to not be surprised with an outcome of no action. @David Hamburger is one of the masters
