Hugger Orange SS Registry Does anyone know how to get a hold of Steven Marchitelli who was doing the Hugger Orange SS Registry. The last email address I have for him is smarchitelli@hotmail.com and he is not responding when I email him at that address.

The 1999 Hugger Orange is color 99. 
The specific code should be on the sticker on your driver-side doorjamb tag, next to the BC/CC designation (base coat / clear coat).

I used to get regular updates from him everytime he added to the registry. A while back, I changed my email address and never notified him of the change. The last email I got from him was 8/30/2002 and was Ver 1.7 of the registry.
OK then, does anyone have a later version of the registry they could send me?

Shame it doesn't include the last six digits (unique build sequence) of the VINs, for future identification purposes.

I really hope there are later versions floating around. Sounds like he was going to be making it bigger and better. Here is what he said when I received V1.7.

Yes, yet another update to the registry. We're up to 101 confirmed cars!!.
I'm still asking for owners who have SLP Y2Y options to PLEASE send me a scan of your SLP window sticker.
Also, please keep the pictures of your cars coming as I plan to integrate pictures in the near future.
Finally, please keep an eye out for any Hugger Orange SSs in your area (i.e. car shows, public parking lots, etc.), and if you ever come across one, please try to get the VIN so I can add it to the database.
Remember, you need Microsoft Excel 2000/XP to view the attached file.
As a quick reference, these are what all the GM codes mean:
1SC/1SD/1SE - Preferred Equipment Group
WU8 - SS Performance Package
MXO - Automatic Transmission
MN6 - Manual Transmission
BBS - Hurst Shifter
B35 - Rear Floor Mats
ULO - AM/FM Cassette
UNO - In Dash CD
U1S - 12 Disc Compact Disc Changer
CC1 - T-Tops
NW9 - ASR Traction Control
C49 - Defogger, Rear Window Electric (all Cdn. cars have this standard)

Thanks for posting what you do have, hopefully someone will come along with a more complete version! Sounds like he was trying to start adding VINs as well as other stuff.

He got ahold of me about a month ago with the screen name HuggerO. Said he had over 300 registered by then so i gave him my info and later i sent him a PM askin a few questions of my own and never got a reply despite him reading my PM

If anyone is looking for a Hugger Orange Z28, I believe there is one here on a car lot up for sale, ...
If ya need more info, let me know, I'll go check it out to get some details.
(Did they make them in the Z28 model, or SS only? I don't think this one was an SS.)
