I personally like the aggressive lines of the WS6 better but I dont like the interior as much. Just buy the one you think that you will be happy with.
Just my $.02.

If you like the SS then just buy a hood. Otherwise you are paying a lot of money for a hood and VIN. IMO, I like the outside look of a T/A slightly better than an SS, but both look awesome. The interior hands down goes to the T/A. The camaros have a cheap looking interior, with ugly rubber ***** and ugly uncomfortable seats. The T/A's have comfortable seats and actually look like a sports car on the inside.

Everybody is going to give their own opinion and mostly biased depending on what they have. For example, the interior is much better in a camaro than a ws6 and so are the seats. Its all on what you want man.

Whats the diff. Between a formula and a Trans Am?

Firehawk hood is slightly less aggressive and sometimes the rear spiler is different (bigger).

The Firehawk is a T/A modified by SLP. Notice the the difference in hood, rear spoiler and wheels. The Firehawk is much smoother looking IMO at least.

You are going to be dropping alot of money just to purchase another LS1.
I would suggest just buying a hood, and a spoiler. You wouldn't even have to get an SS hood and spoiler. Get the SLP hood and different spoiler. You will have alot of money for more mods in the long run.
unless you are just tired of your car......

The Camaro has more customizing/personalizing potential than a TA IMO,
the TA is limited to pretty much wheels and paint, and yes I own both a 30th TA and my SS.
Jeremiah there is an exception when it comes to your SS .... that thing is just amazing!

Just something to consider.
I couldnt agree more with you on that .... I wanted a TA til I drove one and then decided to go with a SS and then decided to go with a z28 after basically tearing a z28 and SS apart and what the differences were.

So, save money, buy Firehawk after than install WS6 hood. Keep the rear spoiler.

Nahh buy a TA and put a WS6 hood on it .... the Hood on a Firehawk is sweet looking.

If you buy a FireHawk .... personally I wouldnt go changing the hood, but that is just me

the choice depends on personality in my opinion. ill agree the WS6 looks way more aggressive than an SS, but the SS is so smooth and sleek looking compared to a ws6. if you like being more subtle and not wanting the attention but something that still looks really good if someone is willing to look, go with the SS. if you want something that grabs your eyes and makes you look at it, get the WS6. but honestly, if i were you, i wouldn't waste the money for a little suspension, hood, wheels and rear spoiler. if youre wanting a drag car, id keep the z28 and just mod it. or another approach, just put the SS hood and rear spoiler on and buy some aftermarket rims. do what you want. what we care about doesnt matter, its what you want. youll be fine any way you go.

I say keep your ride. Since they don't make our cars anymore, you already know your car. You are risking it by getting a new one. A test drive won't tell you everything about the car. You can use the money you are planning to spend for go fast goodies! If you just like the look of the SS, buy the hood and change out your exhaust. Take all the badging off and you have the look you want, reliability you need and the money for a charger You will blow the SS or WS6 off the road. If you don't have issues with what you got, build on it! Just my .02

Stay F-Bod!

That's good advice if all you want is a fast LS1 car, be it a Camaro or Firebird.

I would suggest that you don't go out and buy a hood, spoiler, wheels, badges, etc. to turn a Z into an SS (or T/A into WS6) because that would just make you a poser. If you want an SS… then buy an SS. Otherwise, just mod the hell out of your Z and make it as fast as you want. It can be faster than any other SS (or WS6) on the planet if you want it to be but, that won't make it an SS. Just a really fast Z28.

Oh, BTW, I say get the SS

You are saying the right suggestion. I will do in your advice but not at this time, I have to save money.

Thx
