Default WS6 Paint Protection Film Kit for the nose/hood/bumper

I could only find 2 kits for the WS6 front end:

Invinca-Shield 98-02 Trans Am WS6 Amazing detailed kit for a WS6 -3M film

ClearMask Not so detail but in Aerogard film (aviation quality)

Anyone try any film protection products yet? (I know... I posted this Q in the Appearance forum already)

I had a clear bra on my WS6 10 months ago. I purchased the kit (3M) off of ebay for $100 and had it installed for $140. Pretty good investment IMHO. I've had to trim an edge here and there that buckled and couldn't be smoothed out, but no problem to speak of.

I'm very happy with it.

My car had some clear **** all over the front of it when I bought it. Covered about 1/3 of the hood, part of the front fenders, side mirrors, and the bumper cover.

I hated that ****! So with ALOT, and I mean ALOT of time and effort, I removed it all. MUCH better IMHO

a friend of mine owns a company that does invisible car bras. He just bought a 04 Viper SRT-10 and put the 3M film on it. It took me till the 10th time I was around it to even remember that he had it on there. Every other time I could never see it and it never stood out. I think its awesome. protects the car really well without a bulky bra that stands out and can have water/dirt get stuck under it and destroy your paint.

I'd like to get some of the clear things that go behind the rear tires. I've seen them in Corvette magazines, they use static electricity to adhere to the paint. I wish I could get some for my car.

Why? Stone chips on the bumper cover? What's the issue?

Not on the back of the car!

I'm talking about right behind the rear tire the flat triangular part that looks right at the tire tread... it gets pummeled by grit, stones, etc.

Check out that link I put in my last thread. They custom cut and adhere their plastic themselves. Im sure they could cut a piece to protect all that. And Im pretty sure his price goes by ammount of material used, so it wouldnt be expensive at all.
