idea for NHRA edition
idea for NHRA edition it would be sweet to start a section for just NHRA editions, and keep track of everyone on here and what options they have such as color, 4 or 6spd, ta or formula and so on...since a lot of people dont really know too much about them and it seems impossible to find broken down production #s on 00 and 01 model years...just a thought, btw i have a 01 pewter TA convt, NHRA edition of course...

We used to have that section over on LS1.com . I'm sure if we tried getting a section like that started up here we would catch flak since it is often a seldom used and little understood forum. 
Remember, I do have that website up and running... no NHRA owner has ever bothered to check it out though besides me...

I'm new here and just saw this thread. I currently own an '02 Pewter NHRA edition. I bought it new and have always wondered more people that own them don't seem to take an interest in the uniqueness. I found a NHRA specific website a few years ago but it was a site that charged a $25 yearly fee. Whenever I checked there I didn't see much if any activity and it finally shut down. Personally, I've always enjoyed having something that most people have never heard of.

I looked at a red '99 yesterday. It had 52k on the odometer. The dealer wanted 15,999 for it. I'd never heard of this model and thought that it was a dealer option or something. How rare are these cars? Is the 16k a good price?

Mine is an '01 pewter formula hardtop. A4. BONE stock down to the paper air filter and "silent" stock exhaust. It is probably one of the cleanest F-bodies I have ever seen besides one that has been in storage. I had to give 10k for it with 85xxx on the clock but that didnt bother me at all since my teenage sister had put the miles on it. I had a sticker made for the back glass that looks pretty sweet and ill try to get pics posted today.
