idea for NHRA edition
it would be sweet to start a section for just NHRA editions, and keep track of everyone on here and what options they have such as color, 4 or 6spd, ta or formula and so on...since a lot of people dont really know too much about them and it seems impossible to find broken down production #s on 00 and 01 model years...just a thought, btw i have a 01 pewter TA convt, NHRA edition of course...

We used to have that section over on LS1.com . I'm sure if we tried getting a section like that started up here we would catch flak since it is often a seldom used and little understood forum.
Remember, I do have that website up and running... no NHRA owner has ever bothered to check it out though besides me... (click on my sig if you want to see it)

Hello,
I'm new here and just saw this thread. I currently own an '02 Pewter NHRA edition. I bought it new and have always wondered more people that own them don't seem to take an interest in the uniqueness. I found a NHRA specific website a few years ago but it was a site that charged a $25 yearly fee. Whenever I checked there I didn't see much if any activity and it finally shut down. Personally, I've always enjoyed having something that most people have never heard of.

I looked at a red '99 yesterday. It had 52k on the odometer. The dealer wanted 15,999 for it. I'd never heard of this model and thought that it was a dealer option or something. How rare are these cars? Is the 16k a good price?

Mine is an '01 pewter formula hardtop. A4. BONE stock down to the paper air filter and "silent" stock exhaust. It is probably one of the cleanest F-bodies I have ever seen besides one that has been in storage. I had to give 10k for it with 85xxx on the clock but that didnt bother me at all since my teenage sister had put the miles on it. I had a sticker made for the back glass that looks pretty sweet and ill try to get pics posted today.
