how rare would this be?
a 99 SS that did not have the wu8 option but was later sent back to SLP and documented for the options.
and how rare would it be if was a HOSS?
now how rare would it be if it was also a 1LE 6 speed?
and now, with white leather interior?

Actually there is an A4 1LE HOSS in exsistance. I met the kid that owns it and he special ordered it new. I haven't seen it in several years though. I heard he blew up the motor and was rebuilding it.

0 of 0??? its sitting in my garage. lol
dealer told me SLP was out of business when i ordered it and there fore was no SLP options. after i ordered the car and was on LS1.com and found out that not only was slp still going, but they build the SS's. lol
so after about 4-5 months of fighting with gm and telling them that i did not want another car (cause there would then be two in likeness) they agreed to send it to SLP and get the options.
so i took it to SLP in st.therese and they installed all the SLP options except the bilstein and gave me a window sticker dated 5 months after the car was made, and also a copy of my complete SLP file on the car.

first gen
1967 RS/SS camaro convertible. --396 big block, M21 4 speed royal plum, white interior combination. only one known to exist and it sits in a garage less than 40 miles from me. one of the less rare combos of this car (black interior) was sold at barrett jackson this past week and it dissappointed everyone who knew about it selling at $85,000. If not that, anyone else ever heard of a Fred Gibb special?

they made me take it back, so no WU8, but i got the window sticker from SLP AND the DOOR sticker DATED the day i took it back not when it was first there.
it is classed at gm as having the SLP options.
so on my drivers door there is a sticker from GM dated 01/99 and an SLP ssticker dated 05/99. plus the sticker on the pass door with all the SLP options.

99 Z28 1LE 6 sp hardtop Bright Blue metallic with gray cloth and no 1SD (power acc.)
Is the car rare? I ordered it in October 1998 and they gave me crap about building it so I bought a Vette instead. In April of 1999 the car came into dealership and a dick head bought it and then burned it to the ground for the insurance money. Window sticker was at 21,307 or this is what they were going to sell it to me for. It ran 13.30 with dealer tags on it (5500 DA) stock 98+ ss on same track would run 14.50+ if you caught the air right and had good driver.
I'm in the process of buying a 2002 Formula Firehawk t-top white A4 with 1LE
and some other options. Is this car rare?
I know of a 97 30th LT4 car that still has the window sticker in place could not take my 94 383 6sp man did he get screwed
The same guy has a 93 pace car with 0 miles plastic still on the seats etc.
He also has a 95 z28 6sp 1LE hardtop no A/C black on black (this car is crazy fast for what it is).

I still think for extreme rarity my 89 Turbo Trans Am with abuick motor is the all time rarest. You can talk colors or no power this or that but hey a car with a buick motor from the factory that some say is the fastest stock F-body ever made. Now thats rare 1550 made total.
By the way mine is for sale due to lack of garage space in the new house!

I almost bought that blue 99 Z myself, but my wife couldnt handle no options. By the way after a converter my 98SS would outrun him, The reason that Z ran so well is because Bambam drove the **** out of it!

My vote for the rarest and coolest f-body (sorry I dunno if it was posted in here since I didn't read all 22 pages) is the ONLY early 2nd gen Trans Am made in any other color than white and blue. The 1972 red Trans Am produced by Pontiac for the president of the SCCA at the time. The stipulations were that Pontiac wanted to give him a Trans Am for his collection, however he didn't collect anything but red cars. So Pontiac decided to make a single red trans am just for him. Not too long ago I believe it sold for around $40k and it only had 5500 miles on it and was still all original, which in my mind is pocket change for something that rare and cherry. So not only is this a 1 of 1 color for the body style, but it was produced in the 2nd lowest production year for Trans Ams Here's some pictures pictures from when it was for sale:

I dont think I can count rare as just a color option. The TTA is a totaly different car altogether. Different drivetrain even the rear end I believe is different.
However rare a color might make it anybody can swirl a paint gun it is still the same car.

For second gens it has to be the pilot LS6 Yunick Camaro.
For first gens, and overall the most unique f bod is unquestionably the Pete Estes 68 Z28 drop top.It wasn't an R&D or prototype(like the Yunick LS6)but a single order COPO-try and find another one of those!.Estes was the general manager of Chevrolet and used the car as a personal driver and was so excited with it that he gave the okay to release similar special parts for the Penske Racing team to use on their racing Camaros-and ultimately influenced his decision to keep it as a regular production option.Had it not been for that car there might have never been another Z28.It is categorically the most historically significant and valuable fbody as well-worth conservatively 1.5 mil even in this soft market-about 500k clear of even the most desirable ZL1 car..JMHO
