When my car was one year old I paid 18.9k for my 2002 blk/blk 6 speed Firehawk. 
Of course I ran the internet department of a huge Atlanta car dealership at the time... that's how I got the killer price.

Thought the price was a little high so I got them to...
-Pay tax,title,registration(6% of cost for tax and also 6% of price to register)
-Got four brand new tires at 200 dollars PER TIRE (mounted and balanced).
-Got to keep original firehawk tires with about 75% tread left
-Got them to install brand new wipers
-Got a brand new headlight
-Got car detailed up nice n sexy
-Got car delivered to my house for free w/ full tank of gas
IMO I think I got a good deal. If I didnt get it someone else would have.
The story is actually cool because I said to myself...The next car I was gonna get. I had to find a black/black 6 speed ttop WS6 LS1. I was looking around for a few months and it payed off, I found better a black/black 6 speed ttop Firehawk
