I have yet to find a 1SC stripper Z28 in Monterey Maroon Metallic. Picked it up in Sept of 2005 with 38k miles for $12,300.
Damn, nice find.

I like to think so. Everyone that has seen it for the first time and know stuff about F-bodies always appreciate it. Makes me happy.

I just picked up a NBM 01 SS 6M, hardtop, cloth, cd player, no power options (except I think someone added a power antenna). As far as I can tell mine is one of 54 NBM hardtop SS with a 6M. I'm still trying to see if I can break it down further from that. I found that info in a pdf here. https://ls1tech.com/forums/attachmen...chmentid=24629

Here's some pics of it.

well, sincethis has been resurrected, i'll throw my two cents in... in 98, AC was on 1LE's, especially on my 98 SS 1LE (only 1 of 3 made)(Me and Matt Murphy own two, can't find the silver one) Your car would be extremely rare is they had not continued with the 1LE anymore, or if it had only been optioned differently than any others. We need to talk to GM about the new 09's...Maybe we could get a stripper...A real Stripper, with nothing but motor, strong rear and suspension. Ah the dreams!

I didn't know you could get a/c on the 1LE. Learn something new every day.

Since this thread is some what alive I am looking at 1998 Hardtop Camaro SS it is red, cloth interior, automatic
NO: Power windows, power locks, power mirrors, cruise control, traction control, fog lights, t-tops, He claims it has a 1LE and the WU8 code so he is supposed to send me a picture of the RPO's if this is true this car would be pretty rare right? What if it ends up being a 1SC like my 02 Z28 this car wouldnt be to rare would it?

My 99 SS is a stripper. At least once a year someone says "wow this thing has a hard top." Even had a trooper ask if it was a real SS when he pulled me over for speeding once.

Wow.. i started reading this and realized its an old thread.. Either way it looks like theres a few 1SC optioned SS's out there.. I have one as well and was asking myself the same question when i bought it, if it was a real SS. But RPO codes and a quik call to SLP confirmed it. Plus all the original documentation and it being a one owner car made it better.

01 M6 Black SS
hardtop, hurst
no TCS
power delete windows, locks, mirrors, seats. but i have a defroster!
Had cloth originally but first owner got custom two tone interior done. Looks pretty good. I autox the car when i can and its proven to be pretty quik in my region so far.

Car now has konis, ground control coilovers, strano sway bars, maier racing APHB, 17X11 CCW classics, TSP true duals, and a lid.

Future mods are going to be, global west upper control arms, UE decoupled torque arm. And hooker LT's

just bought it

custom Interior

After suspension with stock chrome ZR1's

17X11 Zr1's all around

And then the CCW's (car is a little dirty due to just being excited about the wheels, couldnt wait to snap a pic!)

Old thread but has wrong info.

Regarding AC and 1LE, 96 on up 1LEs came mandatory with AC. 95 was the last year you could get AC delete.
