It was a great time and something I'll always remember I guess thats why i'm on my 4th f-body camaro lol I loved em. I got to sit in Helen Gibbs #3 zl1....the only one that was an auto. Just sitting in it gave me chills. When is the show in October? I've only seen the zl1's at the gibb car shows in La Harpe.

you can even read in the picture under specifications "1 of 1 with automatic transmission" unless something changed I thought Helens was 1 of 1
maybe 02_phase2_ZL1 can shine some light on this?

Actually............there is four (4) GMMG Camaros that belong to Mid-Iowa Camaro Club owners. 
I have a Phase II ZL1 Supercar
Charlie has a PhaseIIX Hot Rod Magazine Camaro
Brad has a Phase IIX Berger SS
Karl has a Phase I Dale Earnhardt Intimidator SS
If you want to see some of these cars, maybe you should come to the show below in October.

Originally....................Helen's PR-3 car was the only ZL1 to be manufactured/produced by GMMG as an automatic but I "believe" that Bill Porterfield sent his # 1 car back to GMMG to be changed out from an manual transmission TO an automatic transmission. The # 1 car is pictured below:

Thanks for info. I tried correcting myself with PR#3 instead of leaving it #3. Cool information to have thanks for sharing even if i brought an old thread back to life :-)
