Default Monterey Maroon Metallic SS?

Ok so I've been seeing a few MMM Z28 pictures lately and really love the color but realized I have never seen an SS in that color and was wondering If they were ever any made and if so could someone post some pictures?

No. There was a poser on ebay with a convertible, and someone from my club informed him that his car was a well done fake. SS cars except for Tom Henry's were not made in Monterey Maroon. It is a nice color, however.

a few years back I saw a gmmg blackbird in MMM with taupe interior. It looked good IMO with that color combo. The dealer had no idea what the car was, it sold for $18k, ofcoarse it had a tad over 30K on the odometer.

Wow...I can't believe Pat's selling his car! He went to great lengths to get it in the first place since he was overseas in Iraq I believe in the military.

My T/A only has 32,000 miles on it and the paint looks like **** in terms of show quality. If I wanted to seriously show the car, it would have to be completely repainted first.

Rock chips can do a number on a car real fast.

Monterey Maroon was never offered on an SS. Tom Henry took a Z28 and added the hood and spoiler and sent it off to GMMG for the TH treatment.
