There is one currently on ebay: for a lot cheaper than that.

How's the air flow on these? Is is similar to the other SLP lid that everyone has?

I don't get what the big deal is with these stupid lids. They are priced high enough to give people a heart attack and it's just a lid! It's not like your getting 20 HP from it for christ's sake.

You obviously don't understand the real differences in the quality construction, fit, & finish of the Donaldson Blackwing lid.

No, it's not just another lid.

But you don't need to bother buying one, ..., that'll leave more for the others who truly would like to have one.

No, they don't prove to be any better in airflow over any other lid.

Ok well please explain it to me then. What's the numbers on any gains from one of these "wonder lids"? You go ahead and buy a 200 dollar lid and gain half a horsepower and I'll go drop that on something that's actually worth it.

I lucked out........bought one for 45.00 with a new blackwing filter and all rubber and hardware. Wait a month or so and you'll find one reasonably priced.

As far as construction is concerned......by far the nices lid for an ls1 camaro. Looks factory, but without all the BS. Also, they do not warp like some cheap lids (such as the aftermarket slp lid).
