Be very careful on ebay. Many desirable / collectables including GMMG cars don't appear there because of the scams and fraud. Its became a major problem recently.

There were 16 phase1, 16 phase2, and 37 phase3..... Total 69 plus I think, 3 prototypes. All were b4c (Z28s) and 6speed cars except for 2 verts, they were autos. The only engine swaps were the C5R 427s, other engines were stock LS1s with upgrades just like all the other GMMG cars.

guys yes the there were phase I and yes they were LS1 cars. Phase II did have an engine swap for an LS6. the phase III and higher had an engine swap for the c5r block. just to clear things up.

Looking for a gmmg car!!!!!
WOW..................there is so much mis-information here ! ! ! ! !
There were absolutely no LS1 ZL1's...........................and there were absolutely no convertibles. ALL ZL1's were HARDTOPS and the Phase I and Phase II cars had LS6 blocks and the Phase III cars had the C5R race case.
The white car in Illinois that someone mentioned above was a Phase I car that sold at Barrett-Jackson last year for $88,000 and the original sticker was $56,000. This car did nothing but set the price for all ZL1's. I think you will find it hard to acquire one for less than $88,000 now.
If you think you will find a 2002 ZL1 for sticker or less...............good luck. It won't happen. They all go for well above sticker. There are too many guys out there looking for them that know to get one they will have to pay sticker plus many thousands more.
MINE IS ABSOLUTELY NOT FOR SALE AT ANY PRICE.
