Dick Harrell edition ZL-1 Camaros
Hey guys,
So I went to dickharrell.com and was reading up on the guy just to learn some history. When you click "2002 Camaro" up at the top of the page, it brings you to a page that details the special edition Camaros that they produced in 2002, and it mentions that they produced 30 of 'em. I guess my point of discussion is:
Where the hell are they? Anybody ever seen one? I betcha they're all garage and trailer queens..

Dick Harrell cars.
Do you get the GM High Performance magazine? They issue with the SOM Dick Harrell edition on the cover. It was the FEB 08 issue. My buddy is good friends with the owner of that car. He doesn't live to far from me down by Akron, Ohio. From what I hear it only gets driven to shows once in awhile. From the article it stated the car only has 198 miles on it. So I would guess it sits most of the time. Oh yeah also it is the only one made with all the bells and whistles, phase 5. I have yet to meet the owner, my buddy says he will introduce me to him sometime.

Awesome! Those things are mean frikkin' machines! I don't get that magazine, but I did recently discover that the gas station around the corner from my apt. sells "Camaro Performer" I think it's called...no subscription available for it yet, but it's a neat magazine.

The DH Camaro is everyones dream car..... well mine atleast. Obviously I'd get mine with the 427C5R. There was one for sale not too long ago at Berger, but it had the base LS6 block and they wanted 105k for it- not sure if its still for sale. Another member on here offered them 95k cash and they said "take a hike". Good luck if you can find one, let alone being able to afford it. The guys who own all these GMMG cars truely are the lucky few! Then of course you get the other guys who think they are just basic camaro's with a few parts and not worth the price tag...... ha what do they know.....(search under GMMG Cars and ((Speedtoyz1 thread)) you'll get a thread 10+ pages about some guy saying they are overrated pieces of junk). Anyways- as you can tell by my sig, I want to own a GMMG car one day too! They are a work of art in my eyes, but Im just some 25 yr. old kid who does a lot of reading on here- what do I know?

Yep, Got to see them being built. And, got to see the unveil of the light blue one to the Harrell family. There is more than one with "all the bells and whistles". Ron at Vengeance Racing had the test car to fit all the panels on. They turned it into a 9 sec. machine. He sold it though. Not all of them are only show cars either. Some are driven ( a little) and some have even been raced. I saw the Harrell's daughters car being driven between San Diego and LA on the Freeway even.
Wish I had that kind of money. I would buy one (after a house of course).
