Default Some questions about a Firehawk. (Ls1)

I've done a search and I've got some mixed answers.
I'am looking at buying another car towards the end of the summer and GTO's, Firehawks in that order appeal to me. I love my F-body but with all the mods its getting a bit silly DDing it. It's perfectly streetable (somewhat, lol) I just want something stock if you will, with an LSx.

I know a Firehawk comes with the Hood, shocks, wheels, and badging as standard; well whats extra from SLP. Floor mats? Chrome wheels? Auburn DIff? Hurst?

Could someone please clear this up for me, that would be great.

Thank in advance guys.

I would buy a GTO hands down for a DD. they are comfy and ride very well.

You can probably pick up a 04 GTO for cheaper than a firehawk

I agreee,I went to a GTO from a WS6...
Then back to a Hawk (3 months) and sold it and went back to the GTO

The Hawk is cool, handles awesome with the better susp. option but rattles..
Interior isnt as nice but the F-Cars stereo is better..

Looks well the F-Car have a special place in my heart,I think they look awesome
GTO is 2nd in this area but again I do like the looks of the Goat..

Its a toss up but for a DD the GTO wins hands down...Get a low mileage Hawk and drive it on weekends, thats what I'm going to do down the road

Make sure u go LS2 in the GTO (05 or 06)

I don't think I would want to DD a Hawk because I would be putting the miles on it so I say find a nice GTO. If it was for a second car I would def. say a black Firehawk.

GTO hands down for a DD.

To clarify, not all Hawks came with upgraded springs/shocks. There were 2 different optional packages they could come with.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Could you PM me some pics, details and such. I might not be interested as I would be if offered later on, but a friend of mine might be.

Thanks.

Very Ture. But I like the idea of a HAWK, and having 2 rare F-bodies. Well one being somewhat rare. But again, a GTO is not all that common either. To each is there own I guess.

Im buying this 2nd car to not drive my Ws6 as much, I love that thing to death, just want something more stock.

I keep coming back to the decision of a GTO, just makes sense in what it has to offer and what I already have with getting another F-body, meaning why have 2. (I'am contradicting myself here, lol.)

I could'nt really care personally if I got an LS1 or LS2 GTO; just has to be an M6. If the Ls2 came around for the right price and right condition/miles etc....,I'd pick it up in heart beat, but I'd be just as happy with an LS1 Goat.
