Fraser and the gang at AES do awesome work. I just wish i would have went with bigger cubes sometimes but i think my 403 is good enough for right now. Just was scared to add the extra weight to my already overweight gto lol. Need to put this thing on a diet.

How would this engine do in a n/a dailydriver. Also would there be any oil comsumption issues because of the long stroke.Just wondering because the 427 iron block dont seem that popular.

The 4.100 crankshaft increases rod angle .5º over a 4.000" stroke crankshaft.
Its a good street engine, most power per dollar.

Should not have abnormal oil consumption, sleeve length in 6.0 iron, 6.2 LS3 and LSX std deck block are all 5.5"; People run 4.100" stroke in all of them.

We deck the cylinder block, so 4.125 we would be out of the hole w/ 1.050" CH. 4.100" perfect, 0 deck
4.250" not enough cylinder length. For another customer we're building 455ci LS7 block, longer sleeves.
