Lightbulb TEA Head Group Purchase

As a part of being a new employee I will be working to do Phone Sales and LS1 Technical Questions we are going to offer some of the lowest prices we have ever offered. I wanted to make this available to our LS1 Customers as one of my first projects here. We need 5 orders to make this Group Purchase a go. We have developed a brand new stage of head for those with money in mind. We are offering a brand new Stage 1.25 Head. This head is the same CNC program as our Stage 1.5 Head with the exception of having Blue Stripe 918 Comp Springs. Here is the breakdown and BRAND NEW PRICING.

These prices are all for 5.7 Heads. The core charge will be $200.00 and will be returned as soon as we receive your heads. If you prefer 5.3 heads, simply add a flat fee of $300 to the price of the GP. If you already have 5.3 heads, you may send them in to us and your heads will be used and will not require the $300.00 charge.

Stage 1.25

Brand New Stock LS1 Retainers

This head will have the same flow numbers and characteristics as the Stage 1.5 head with the only exception being the Comp 918 Springs.

Stage 1.5

$1,420.00
Fully CNC Port Intake and Exhaust
Competition Multi-Angle Valve Job
Mill heads up to .040"

We will be around two weeks out from having LS1 Heads back on the CNC here. We will end this GP on April 2, 2004 at 5:00pm Central Time.

We also offer dyno tuning by appointment only. We can also order Competition Cams and Kook's Custom Headers and many other miscellaneous LS1 Performance Parts. If you have any questions please give us a call and we look forward to working with you and your combination.

Guys it would be $150.00 to hand finish the heads as you had asked. Also to onfire they are 987 springs. The 978 is a direct drop-in spring. The 987's have to be cut on the seat and require machining which is already included. We will be putting LS1 heads back on the CNC here within the next two weeks and it would take around a month or less to get these to you under normal circumstances. If you have anymore questions, please let me know...I'm here to help you guys.

Brian,
I am just wondering about the usual flow numbers for these heads if you happen to have them. Thanks!

Yes, they flow in in the lower 300's at .600" lift. Somewhere between 300-307 give ot take a couple cfm.

Nice deals - and right along the lines of what I've been looking for.

I'd like some clarification, please. You mention that the only difference between the 1.25 and 1.5 is the springs, but the 1.5 also list Ti retainers. Seems like you get a lot for the extra $120 if that's the case.

Thanks,
Dan

This is a set of 5.7 LS1 Heads right off the CNC with no competition hand finishing. This is a basic head...some flow 304+...I didn't search for the highest flow numbers I just did a search for our 5.7 Head at random and came up with this one.

Lift Intake Exhaust

.100" 69 57
.200" 138 118
.300" 199 184
.400" 246 229
.500" 280 255
.550" 292 262
.600" 300 265

I'm still waiting for clarification on whether the stage 1.25 includes the Ti retainers. Does it?

Thanks,
Dan

This is Brian H using Brent's computer....

No, that doesn't include titanium retainers. We buy the 987 Springs in bulk and the 918 with a titanium retainer would cost you more than the 987 Duals with the titanium retainer. Guys this is a SMOKIN' Deal. If you have questions call me at the shop and we can discuss anything you need on your combo.
