Do these things really work? I can't see how they would help from snapping your ring/pinion... is there proof that they help? Also, will it clear an aftermarket panhard rod? That's a good price...

In conversation with car guys and a couple of vendors, they say it assists in keeping the rear together longer......no guarantee......just does a little pre-load in the rear end area......I am going to order me one to try and prevent busting them old 4:10's gear in the ten bolt. Hope this explanation helps some. cheers......

Kent1 is correct , it also will make it easy to change the oil in your rear end as it has a drain plug and fill plug .

are the adjustable support bolts supposed to be torqued down or will regular tightening do the trick?

I just bought one. Nice site. Now you should
get with Zexel and work out how to do a T-2R
Torsen GP, before I get that cover on.

This cover comes with the studs already... they have
little pivot feet on the studs and the design is nice.
