If they'd do a gp I go ahead and buy it. If not I'll probably just wait till efilive releases their software. They are supposed to give a pretty good discount for current efilive users.

The nice thing about them is that it is not VIN specific. Just has to be the same year/style car. For example, 5 of us in So Cal chipped in and bought one for the 2002 F-Body. It cost us $110 each including shipping and now we can all use the program since we all have '02 F-Bods. It helps that we are all friends and live within 30 minutes max of each other too

My suggestion is to find 3 or 4 people near you that you know and can trust, and that have the same year F-Bod, and then buy one Tuner together........we let our most trusted pal handle the money/purchase and it showed up last night. I am going over there tonight to get some data logged in and hopefully figure out some things to do
Good luck to ya all.

that's per model/year ... I highly doubt there will be a GP on HP Tuners... if you want it cheaper then your best bet is to get a bunch of peops together w/the same year/model car in your area and chip in...
HP Tuners is year/model locked... so if you buy it for a 2000 F-Body... it will work on ANY 2000 F-Body ...
500 dollars for a tuner and scanner.. and soon an interface to a wideband sensor (not sure how much more that upgrade will be... but if you have a wideband sensor... it'll be worth it) seems reasonable to me... Autotap is 250 bux alone and it just logs (and the software was written by a bunch of idiots... at least that's my belief...)

$500 is a great price for for what you get with hp tuners. Maybe just free shipping? I just need a little push to take the plunge into the tuner pit.
