1. Learned not to be afraid of modding my car (just do the research first)
2. Learned that in the drag racing world an automatic with a big convertor is better than a manual trans.

1. Plan your mods so you don't buy stuff twice.
2. Arguing with stupid people over the internet can make you look stupid even if you're right.

1. I have learned that no matter how much **** someone talks, someone else is ALWAYS faster.
2. That the definition of what is or isn't streetable is definitely dependent on the individual.

1. The search button is your friend.
2. LS1Tech.com is the best board on the Internet when it comes to finding any LSX info you need.

1) Parts can be had from sponsors for FAR under retail if you get them on specials. And then installed myself with install documents.

2) I can (sorta) read cam specs now!

1. Rocker arm bolts over the intake runners on ported heads have to be sealed.

2. Several durability things - upgrade the oil pump, JWIS timing chain is good, stock bottom end is good with the addition of ARP rod bolts.

3. Ok, I know you said only two, but I like this one too... With hptuners you can now desensitize knock sensors, then get rid of the 4k timing advance "speedbump", and it pulls a lot harder there with no knock.

And corvette rear o2 sensors work great as front o2 sensors in headers. (that's 4 things huh?!)

1. Don't get involved with internet trash talking and flaming, it just pretty much makes everyone involved look dumb and doesn't get anything done in the real world.
2. If you're always tight on cash like me, be patient and smart with your money. You'll be much happier in the long run.

1. The search button is your friend. Use it even when your hands are dirty in the middle of a mod.
2. If you are patient, you can get stuff cheap. After you get stuff cheap, you can sell the old stuff and make it even cheaper.

What I learned.
1. Flowmaster 80 series suck for flow.
2. Flowmaster 10 series, well, enough flow to set of car alarms.
What I want people to learn
1. That www.ls1sounds.com will tell you what 'that' exhaust sounds like.
2. Utilize the search button. It's there for a reason.

1. Plan your mods correctly, do it right the first time and you want have to go back and pay for the mistakes that you made. If you want to feel a noticeable difference in your mod's, do more than one mod at a time. Don't just start doing random mods !

2. Search ... You will find your answer 99% of the time ... Their is a great deal of knowledge in here ... which will help you do it right the first time.

1) Using the search button should always be your first option

2) There is no better place to get advice, help, or support for the LSx Blues. This place is a virtual fountain of information, help and friendship. Just be considerate of others.
