1. Know your last mod before you begin your first mod. You will save time and money as long as you understand that.

2. I have learned how to install every part and I have learned how to troubleshoot every problem I have had.

Default 2 things learned 2 things need learned

I have learn many things from LS1 tech so it is easy to narrow it down to two
1. learned form start to finish how to install my nitrous and what saftey features were needed to prevent my motor from exploding.
2. I have learned 11 seconds is easily done, well 10s is $$$$$

1. people need to learn how to search
2. people need to learn how to search

Bigger is not always better.

Speed cost money.

The right combo is better than always having the biggest or latest.

1. Automatic LS1's with a bigger stall converter are the "best bang for the buck"!
2. Wait for a new product to be proven before jumping on the band wagon.

1. LS1's in '97 - '04 C5 '98 - '02 Camaro Z28's and SS's, LS6's in '01 - '04 C5 Z06's.
2. 500 Horsepower is possible with just heads and cam on LS1.

1. Use search when you first start, most all questions have answers.
2. Look at stickeys or the FAQ section instead of posting all kinds of new threads.

1. Research here on the greatest board, before spending money.
2. Share your personal experiences, and others will do the same.

Almost everyone I have asked a question to on this board has
responded in a positive and friendly manner.

Thanks a lot members!

1. It isn't the amount of parts you have or the brand, it is the combination.

2. THE DYNO IS A TOOL, NOT AN EVENT! They all differ, even the same brand, even the same location on different days and times.

1. the search feature is golden
2. factory 10 bolts 99% of the time can't stand up to 150 shot of nitrous which the motors are more than happy to use

Things I have learned:
1) Camshaft Mathmatics
2) That my LS1 was under-rated

Things I wish everyone would learn:
1) Having an automatic trannsmission in this car does not mean the car is no longer a good car.
2) How to flame less.
