1. Be patient, things in the LS1 world are changing at a frantic pace dont jump on the latest trend/parts/etc.

2.The newbies that are just arriving have a wealth of info to digest.

1. That most shops have no clue when it comes to LS1s ,they are not a ole SBC.

2.To research on an idea of what parts you want before jumping in with both feet.

1) Research and read as much as you can from people that have personal experiences with the mod, not just what they heard from a freind.

2) Its ok to spend a little more to buy from a sponsor, all though they are cheapest most of the time, cause its helping the site and the sponsor

1. I learned that I needed to find someone who REALLY knew what they were doing to get my Richmond gears installed to be quiet.
2. For every appearance mod you do to the car, there is someone who will think it is ricey Don't listen to those dumbasses; if you like it, do it!

1. First three words when it comes to modding Plan, Plan, Plan..........
2. Even though a little more Cramped for space, you can still DIY Mod most everything on LS1's Just read and understand and have Patience!

1. Dyno numbers are only a tool for tuning. Keep the racing out of the garage.

2. Don't follow the herd with your mods, analyze what you want and figure out what fits your goals.
