Thanks for the pictures. Will the polished waterpump rust or corrode in any way? What's the warranty on these or how long do they usually last? Are they new or refurbished?

It shouldn't rust but you'll need to keep up with it once in awhile (polish it to stay shiny). These are brand new pumps with a 2 year warranty. They are rated for about 3000 hours of use. That can be about 5 years or more depending on how much you drive. A blue one went on my GTO today.

Could you tell me what the difference would be between the meziere pump or having 160* thermastat with a slp fan switch?

The pumps isn't driven by the motor like the stock one is so that frees up some horsepower. The belt on this one is just along for the ride.

Should that belt be on the pulley below the water pump? I don't understand either.

Just saw that We have had some of the race pumps ordered for $324.99 so we're going with that. This GP will be ending tomorrow (1/25).

Just weighted the stock at 12lbs and the Meziere at 15lbs.
