Default Last chance for Coil Relocation kit GP!

I have talked to the sales staff at Thunder Racing and they have approved a group purchase if we can get 5 people to order. Here is a link to their relocation kits.

I have talked to Thunder and here is the pricing. 5 or more orders and the price will be $169.99. 10 or more orders and the price will be $154.99. Once we have at least 5 orders comfirmed go ahead and order on line and insert the GP price in the notes section. Thanks everyone.
I am in for sure, so we need 4 more to order. I also have posted this on camaroz28.com.

I thought we weren't supposed to order until we had 5 confirmed buyers. What if we order and we only get 4 buyers?

I was going to wait also, but Angie at Thunder emailed me and said to go ahead and order. They will ship as soon as the 5 orders are met. We still have an entire week and only need one more so hopefully it will go through. I will be in contact with Angie through out the week. They have the kits in stock and they also have more on order.

how easy is the install? i'm not scared of doing it, but i don't want to get into something that's gonna require me to modify things or fab things. i want something to bolt in and go so to speak.

i don't think it will be a difficult process. many people have done it fabbing their own stuff so with the kit i would say it will be pretty easy. i am sure there will be directions to follow and TR is always good about answering questions if there are any problems that we may face.

The install is very straight-forward, but requires drilling some holes in the cowl area. But, I have a different plan. First I will have to see how much the new assembly weighs with the bracket, coils, and wires and if it is not too heavy, I am going to try some industrial strength velcro. I bought a Delco 12 disc CD changer for my TA that did not come with the factory mounting, so I put 2 2" strips of the hook side of the hook and loop on the bottom of the changer, plugged it in, then stuck it down onto the carpet in the cubby hole. I don't have to worry about it sliding, it takes some pretty good effort just to get it off without pulling out all the carpet. Hopefully, it will be strong enough to hold the coils up under the cowl. If not, I will drill, but I would rather not. It would be so much easier to replace a coil or wire with the velcro.
