I'd buy one without EGR. There was a thread about this just a week or so ago but the only offer was for $430 I think. Eadperformance and SLP already sell them for $400 so a GP would have to be less than that.

Non-egr is generally $100 cheaper.

I'f i'm not mistaken, the non-EGR is the LS6 and the EGR is the LS1 intake correct? or did I miss something?

I just bought one from Scoggin Dickey for their everyday price of $399.50. It is the non-EGR one. I also bought the plugs and cross-over tube from them. Got it in just a few days. They are GREAT to work with! They are an LS1Tech sponsor, too.

Edited: dangit, I typoed on the price.

I would love an LSX right now but the budget is calling for an LS6 intake. If price was right I would be in for a NON EGR model.

From what iv read an LS6 intake flows just as well as an LSX unless your gettin a 90mm one for more cubes.

All the experience of the local guys here in the PNW is that with tuning there is a olid gain over the LS6 even with the 78mm on a stock inch motor.

I second that one... I'm thinking about getting one not for a peak hp gain, but to help the engine breathe over 6k rpms where I spend most of my time when at the track.

I just bought one from Scoggin Dickey for their everyday price of $339.50.
Was that including the coolant plugs and lines and was that for a new intake, that's a really low price so I'm wondering.
