Default The New Speedinc.com

We let it loose today, there is still much to do on it. It has been a work in progress for awhile now, the F-Body LS1 section are pretty much ready to go.

The new site is updated with new products, the catalog itself can be searched by manufacturer, item no, or by application.

There are a few neat things added to the new site. You have the option of signing up for an account on the site. If you do so there are new features available to you.

- Stored contact info for quicker ordering
- View past orders
- Tracking orders (available also without an account)
- Save your cart (Wish List)
- Email saved cart to someone
- Populate cart from saved wish list

The other large upgrade is our checkout system now shows sale prices, applicable taxes, discounts subtracted, and shipping (up to a certain weight) is estimated with delivery options.

If you have questions please send them to webmaster@ls1speed.com

Sounds like the database isn't correctly tied in yet. Either that or a parameter is off and just needs some tweaking. I'm sure he'll get it...nice site.

I dont know what happened, it was working before.

But hey, thanks for letting me know. I rewrote that section.

Sorry for the rocky start - I promise its worth it Some of these new features really worked out quite well in testing.

Fixed the wishlist option, it had to do with how I numbered the items .... and once it hit 10 it put 10 under 1 ... so 1, 10, 2, 3 ..etc ...but when it sees 9 is the last THEN it thinks it has to add 10 but it cant because its already there it gets confused... anyways.... all done.

The wishlist features I particularly liked because I like to look at an order for a day before I'm ready to order just to make sure I get what I want. The wishlist allows you to save a cart, order it later, email it to other people ...etc.

keep up the good work,chris

Yea, I kind of did it differently. Theirs is more public and serves a different purpose.

Even tho I called it a wish list, it really is just a way of organizing orders you want to place and the tools to manage them and use them to create an order at a later time.

I tried to place an order on there several times yesterday but everytime I would click "submit order" I would get a page that kept saying the request couldn't be processed. I don't know what was going on. The new site is great though!

would you please email me privately?

we are constantly getting orders so your incident must be isolated - however I really want to figure out what happened.
