- SOLD Thunder Racing 224/224 .561/.561 112lsa +4 degrees advance USED $325
- Comp XE-R 230/230 .592/.592 110lsa + 0 degrees advance NEW $375

Well, I purchased a TR-220 from you already, but that 219/219 .576/.576 112lsa + 4 degrees advance cam may be the real sweetheart of the whole group.
Fairly low duration with lotsa lift and 4 degrees advance. The sometimes poor idle of a 112 LSA would be calmed way down by this cams lower duration and good "under the curve" characteristics of a cam with high lift. A very "torquey" cam to say the least that would pull [real] hard to a comfortable 6,200 rpm. Great street cam for a daily driver!
If anyone here buys it, you really need to come back and let us know how this camshaft works out. This is NOT a dyno queen cam... This is a [great] street cam!
Very interesting indeed....
Just my opinion.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Jason....
BTW, any chance you folks can cut a deal on those Thunder Racing head plates?
Hey, it's a walking billboard for you guys. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Maybe 10 bucks off or better? I am getting rid of my EGR when the LS6 intake is installed and am looking for a head plate since that part of the head will not be covered up.
How bout it?

Titanium retainers would be a good upgrade as well. You may need some computer tuning to get the idle where you need it, but I know of a few people who just drill out their TB hole and this takes care of the idle problem.

Re: Cam Clearance sale - new and used
Will the 219/219 .576/.576 112+4* work well on an A4? And how about with use on soon to be DP nitrous (300hp) new NX kit, too much cylinder pressure? Daily driver pretty much, will have MAF-T soon. TIA.
Charlie.

How would that 219 cam do in a 5.3h/c ls1 in a truck? <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" />

Re: Cam Clearance sale - new and used
ttt..
The 219 cam would be a little big for my tastes in a 5.3l, but it would be cool to try. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
