Default Texas Speed & Performance Christmas Sale - Cams and 12-Bolts!

It's time to finish up your Christmas shopping for friends, family, and yourself.

Cam Sale! - This is good for the month of December, and it is NOT a GP. This is a sale, so no minimum number of purchases are required. Here are the cams that we have available:

TSP228R - *228/228, .588"/.588", 111 LSA
TSP228 Reverse Split - *228/224, .588"/.581", 111 LSA
TSP224R - *224/224, .581"/.581", 112 LSA
TSP224 - *224/224, .568"/.568", 112 LSA
TSP220 - *220/220, .564"/.564", 114 LSA (emissions-friendly)

Cam Package 1: your choice of camshaft, Manley valve springs good to .600" lift, Manley titanium retainers, and Manley hardened pushrods for $699 + shipping!

Cam Package 2: your choice of camshaft, Comp Cams 918 valve springs, and Manley hardened pushrods for $599 + shipping!

Cam Only - $399 + shipping

If you are interested in one of the cams listed above with a different LSA just shoot me an e-mail. It takes about a week to have a cam custom-ground, FYI.

Moser 12-bolt Group Purchase: I cannot post our pricing for the GP, so please e-mail me for a quote. We will need a minimum of three orders for the GP to run, so that shouldn't be too hard.

Our website will not be up and running for another 10-14 days, so feel free to post up or e-mail me with any questions that you may have. If you are ready to order, e-mail me with your phone number and I will call you to get all of your information.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Trevor

Trevor: Take a look at my post in Engine and give me your thoughts on the 228 cam. I'm thinking of it, but with a 115 or 114 LSA.

Thanks,

Joel

Do you have any dyno nymbers or track times with the reverse split cam or the 224/224 .588/.588 112LSA cam? Also what would be the powerband with these cams? This would be going in my car with stock heads.

Alex - I sent ya one back.

mrb00formula - LOL! Big is just a matter of what you're comparing it to.

Savageite - My first cam that I had in my SS was the 224/224, .581"/.581", 112 LSA (TSP 224R), and I picked up 40 RWHP with the swap. My best ET with that cam and stock heads was an 11.63 @ 114 MPH on a 1.58 60' time, and this was with a raceweight of 3,515#. I think you will be very pleased with this cam and stock heads. I am now running the TSP 228R, and I picked up 9 RWHP over the 224R. I have run an 11.41 @ 116 MPH with this cam, and I am looking for some solid 11.20's or better this next weekend with a ~3,475# raceweight.

You should expect the 224/224, 228/224, and 228/228 to peak right at 6,400-6,500. My 228R peaks at 6,400 RPM and carries power a few hundred RPM past that.

Trevor is your car a a4 or A m6. If it's a m6 what do you shift at? I'm asking because I really don't want to shift any higher then 6500-6600 rpm. Also what mods do you have? Sorry for all the qeustions.

You'll be fine with a 6500/6600 shift on these cams.

I totally agree that you will be just fine with 6500-6600 RPM shift points. You can see the COMPLETE list of mods on my home page (link in sig). The major ones include FLP headers, Yank Pro Thruster 4400 tq. converter, TSP 228R cam, ASP underdrive pulley, 3.73's, etc.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Sweet. I think a cam will help me get 11's on street tires along with the bolt-ons I already have.

Trevor, I'm looking forward to working with you in the future!!

Corey - I have no doubt that a cam will get you into the 11's! Just let me know when you're ready for one. Keep an eye on the truck section, too. We will be having a cam special for the truck guys as well.
