Kooks can't deliver right now, their wait is 2-3 weeks and by the way Barry at QTP DID hook me up with a discount as would he with anyone else. He called me at home and talked to me for 30 minutes yet I didn't even get a reply from Kooks. I'm not saying their headers aren't nice after all I wanted a set in the first place but since they blew me off I see no reason to deal with them. Riddler - Nick from Kooks is not on the net all the much, neither is Barry from QTP.
Did you ever try calling Kooks?
If you think that the wait for Kooks headers is long at 2 weeks, wait till you see how long it takes to get a set of QTPs. I had a set on order 2+ months and finally had to give up. And Kooks can deliver - mine were ordered on Monday afternoon last week and will be shipping out Tomorrow (Wednesday). Stainless and everything. A friend ordered 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 and they took about 2 weeks (but he went with mild steele). That seems pretty damn good for a header which is made to order! Have fun on the waiting list at QTP.

Many times I have chosen one vendor over another just due to the fact the responded promptly to my inquiry. When I emailed Kooks the actually called me back but then again I wasn't inquiring about getting a discount. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
