What are the benefits to these rotors? Not real familar with them. Do they work with stock pads and calipers? Sorry for newbie Q's just trying to learn....

They are stock replacements and work with stock calipers and pads....they are cross-drilled and slotted...some say this helps with brake fade, others say it's just for eye candy. No problem with questions...

 

Thanks WS6store, i just purchased the rotors along with a couple other things from spohn. Great price, hopefully it will get to me in the next 5 business days cause im moving in a week and a half.

 

Have them just slotted? What type of blanks are these made from?

 

Do you have any discount/special offer for a set or Rear LS1 rotors only, I already have a set of front cross drilled and slotted rotors.

Sorry guys, powdercoating is not available with these...I bet you can get it done locally for fairly cheap. Also, the blanks are from Dora....they resist warping and cracking very well.

Also, I mentioned above that they arent available with just slots. I just spoke to our vendor and he said that they CAN do just slotted, just drilled, or both. So if you want just slotted or just drilled, specify in the "Comments" section of the order until I get the drop down selection in place.

We have sold many sets and have been on a few company cars (99 C5 and 01 TA) and they have been working wonderfully. The vendor we get them from produces them in bulk so we are able to reflect our savings to you. The rotors come with a 90 day warranty against warping and cracking. As I am not sure about weight difference...

 

Are these zinc plated? Or will they rust up?
