cam pkg #1 and thunder p#111-10-LS (basic cam swap gaskets) is all I'll need to get the job done...correct?

Yes, that will get the job done.

UPDATE: I now have a link to order these on-line:
http://www.thunderracing.com/index.c...yid=1135#T1671

If you order a gasket package, ARP bolts, or cam tool, just mention that you want the 10% Discount in the comments section of the order form.

ASP pulleys are a natural part of a cam swap, would it be possible to get that 10% discount on them as well, or have the pulley included with a cam package?

Regardless I'm going to go ahead with the pulley, and an oil pump with EFI Live on the side.

Thats just the way it works out. The 918 springs cost a lot more the the REV springs do.

Paul, which spring would you recomend for a TR224, the Comp 918's or the REV duals? I hear the Comps are easier to install, but which will be the most reliable and last longest?

We personally recommend the Comp 918 springs, and that's the only drop-in spring that we use in the shop. Jason has them on his motor with the TR230/224 spinning to 7000rpms with out a problem, and they just made a trip to FL and back as well. I can tell you that Jason is not easy on his car either.

IMO you would be OK driveability wise with the 230, look at the HP and torque curves and listen to the idle clips that were posted in this thread. But if you have any emissions testing at all there in Texas, I'd stay with the TR224 114.

OK thanks Paul, I'll go with the Comp 918's; maybe there is a good reason they cost more than other brands. Now if I can just decide whether to get a TR224 on a 112 or a 114 . . . do you have any input on this? I have to pass emissions here, but I'd rather have the added grunt of the 112.

Jason spins to 7000? Does he have ARP rod bolts and forged rods?

If emissions are a concern then the 114lsa would be the way to go. I don't know of anyone that has passed with a 112lsa, not saying it can't be done though.

I'm pretty sure that Jason has ARP rod bolts but the crank, rods, and pistons are 100% stock.
