Matt,
Thanks for the questions!! $450.00 is a great price but as I said it is an intro price I don't know how long it will be around? Ok to answer your questions, Yes any Stall, 1.68 to 2.5 STR; 245 mm =9.5 inches, LS1 and LT1 good for up to 550 pounds of torque and up to 150 shot of NOS.
Thanks again,
Vannessa

so, how will this verter work on a heads/cam 6.0 4300# truck with a 150 shot? is it gonna be strong enough to handle the power/weight i want to throw at it.

What is the differance between the street stalker and the phoenix.

I want to get a converter, and don't want to cut corners, especially with something that is sitting inside my transmission.

Thanks

Matt,
There is really no problem with H/P and NOS but the converter lock up piston is only rated for a 3900lb car so you may want to go with the Phoenix or the Violator series.
Hope this is helpful to you.

The difference between the Street Stalker and the Phoenix is: the Street Stalker has a two piece cover, the Phoenix has a cnc machined one piece cover. The Street Stalker has OEM lock up piston, the Phoenix has a steel billet piston. The Stret Stalker has limited STR 1.68-2.5, The Phoenix's STR goes from 1.68-3.0
Thanks for asking!!

Vannessa, how much do the Phoenix verters run, something like a 3,800 stall with 2.6 ratio? that's pretty much what i'm looking for in a converter, something that can handle the weight of the truck as well as power adders.

Matt,
The Phoenix converters start@700.00 plus shipping and handling with a 3 year warranty and an unlimited re-stall at this time. The Street Stalker comes with a 2 year warranty and 3 free re-stalls
Thanks

I like that name

I run the Phoenix converters in my sig and im going to be testing out my 3rd converter for TCS and from my exsperiance they are top notch converters! I have ZERO lockup issues,no chatter what so ever and the converter hits hard and pulls like a rocket through the intire RPM range.

so, how about you guys donate a phoenix for say half price to test it out in a truck setup...say a phoenix 3800-4000 w 2.5-2.7 str....something like that. we'll see how one will hold up in a high horsepower truck situation. with an extra 1000# over an fbody.
