Default June Intake and TB Porting Special

Hello everyone. We had such a great response with the last special and decided it was time to do it again. We typically charge $300 for the intake manifold porting and $150 for the TB and when done together we charge $400.

From today through the end of June, we will be offering special pricing of $225 for the intake manifold and $125 for the TB. If you have both of these done together, the price will be $300 SHIPPED. If you are not local, these prices include shipping within the 48 states.

The average gain for the LS2 intake manifold is 11rwhp/13rwtq. We have done over 230+ LS2 intake manifolds, 75+ LS7 (18RWHP and 20RWTQ), 20+ LS3 & L76s (12RWHP and 15RWTQ) and over 190 TB's.
We have had many cars gain much more than the averages listed.
20RWHP from an LS2, 32RWHP for an LS7, and 30RWHP from a L76 and 22RWHP from an LS3, 35RWHP from a FAST.
When porting the TB you will see greatly improved throttle response and bottom end/mid range Tq feel and a significant seat of the pants gain. Our Manifolds are very thoroughly ported not only in the runners (like some do) but also much of the plenum and TB flange are enlarged in order to support more airflow in the upper RPM. The larger the air reservior the less likely to deplete more volume in the upper RPMs. Hence the OEM difference of the '00 LS1 intake vs the '01 LS6 intake.

We also port LSX manifolds, pricing is typically $350. Through June 31st we will also be porting these for $250 SHIPPED (10RWHP and 10 RWTQ). We do open the flanges of a 90mm FAST to 92mm as well as reshape the bell-mouth port entry and increase plenum volume.

For those of you interested in this offer we can help with the tuning as well. We know exactly what to do in the tuning in order to optimize the fuel, spark advance and response.
On all vehicles since '01 the more airflow the vehicle has the less timing it will give it under heavier load. We fix that in the tune as well as dial in the right amount of fueling at the right time.

NOTE: A core charge applies if not available.
Thank you
Dan @ Fasterproms

There actually is not anything to be gained by porting the LS6. They do not have the extra material and flaws on the inside like the LS2/7/3 have.

Just want to give all a heads up that we will be extending this special through till July 15th.

Some popular questions:
Core charge is $550.00 for both the intake and TB. Refunded the day we receive the core's back. Just ask that you return your core's within 7 days of receiving the ported set. It typically takes 2-3 day's for the refund to show on statements due to processing time with banks/CC companies.

Turn around here is usually less than 3 days if you send your set to us for porting.

Also Want to thank all that have ordered and hope you enjoy your new found UMMPH! We have done at least 15 since we started this special.

We also offer tuning for these mods, either here locally, or via HP tuners mail order.

Also, today we are working on a "how to" video or instruction manual to remove the intake and tb, and hope to have it up soon.

Thanks all!

Here are some graphs of some Cars that we dynoed, tuned, and swapped the intakes and TBs.
1st is a 07 LS7 ported and tuned: 1st is base, 2nd is base tune, 3rd is ported and tuned completely.

Here is a 07 LS7 base tune and then ported and tuned.

Here are two C6 LS2's with just cai and cat backs:

383 LS6 to ported FAST and nice set of heads:

Here is another example. This was a completely optimized LS2 manifold/tune and then to a ported and tuned LSX/FAST set up. The number of pulls shown is due to continually pulling timing/tuning to optimize power.

This is a nice example of a comparison to a ported LS2 to a ported LSX.

what are the common gains on porting a stock tb from an 02SS? if porting an ls6 is unnecessary then i should see a gain of around 10 rwhp just from the tb, this includes the bump stop mod of course as well right?

Here is another ported LS2 GTO w236/240 cam to that had been fully optimized then upgraded the manifold to a ported FAST and then tuned for.

Here is another Z06 w/ typical results from stk w/ KN to tuned to ported intake

Here is one of the higher gains we have had porting a FAST on an A-B test.

Camarojunky74- I have never seen any power from a TB. Anyone that claims power from one I believe is fibbing a bit or on the test let the car cool down too much.
Yes it does include the bump stop mod as well as taking a lot of material out of the body itself and smoothing as much as possible. There is much work to be done on a LS1 TB but most of the gains are going to be at part throttle. It will feel much torquier at part throttle and will "feel" much stronger but in fact it is an illusion of more power bc it it essentially more airflow at the same throttle position, like multiplying the throttle.

Thank you Jeremy Formato
