The kit includes a new alternator and pigtail. You will need a new belt.

besides wiring up the pigtail (one wire) everything else is BOLT ON.

the bracket is slotted to be used as a tensioner. This will work on almost any ls1 including conversions.

The pics show the original non polished design, all brackets are now polished and are show quality and have been tested to over 1000rwhp.

Anyway to set it up for alternator and water pump drive only? I don't have power steering or a/c.

 

it will work fine with no A/C or PS

We do not offer a belt "yet" due to so many different pulleys, balancers, a/c, no a/c , etc, etc

just bolt it on and measure for a belt and you're done

 

Wow, I don't have FI but I'd get that just to put the alt. up on top and use the pimp bracket! lol

 

What type is the alt and how many amps? Comes with required bolts?

This may sound stupid but what is the advantage of moving the alternator to the top on a turbo car. Is it just more clearance for the driver side charge pipe.

 

Its in the way so its gotta go somewhere....

 

when using truck manifolds there is no way to mount the alternator in the stock location, and this may be true even with custom headers at times.

 

oh ok got ya never really looked at a kit close enough that makes sense.My buddy just flipped his stock bracket around and shimmed it for his kit. this is a very hot piece though.

 

Do you still stock this kit? looked on the website,couldn't find it.

 

can you get in in black powder coat? and can i get it will higher amp?

 

Do you make a bracket for the stock alternator ? Is there any benefit to using this different alternator ?

 

I called and ordered the bracket only, $199. I have 3 alt' here I'll let you know which one works.
