Yeah, I have a question... how the hell do I keep up with that thing? That car hauls the mail!

I see that you have the motor mounted normally...but don't understand how you made it work for the front wheel drive setup?

I bought the car running low 12's high 11's. It was full weight, no suspension. It had TEA stage 1 heads and a 218/224 cam. I got the car down to high 10's on motor with just suspension, drivetrain, and weight mods.

Then I put in the ls2 with the stock l92's and a cam and im still working on getting a "good" setup.

I havent seen much gains from different intakes, and different stalls, as much as I have from weight and suspension.

First gear goes to about 85 mph. I really need some different gears for the car. It has 3.73, I want some 4.56's

Thanks for the comments!

I like your car over a lot of others on this site. I don't find too many high dollar builds that interesting unless they're done on a budget. I like your car because you do it all yourself and have done a lot of similar things I have (granted you did them first). I've used a lot of the weight reduction and automatic transmission info you've posted to help me along the way.

I bought my 93 for $900 with a leaking freeze plug and it's turned into a complete redo of the car. So far I've taken 307 lbs out of the car. I'm switching from an LT1 / 4l60 to a LS1 / TH350 / 10 inch converter and stand to loose roughly another 120 lbs. I figure I can get the car to around 2960 with me in it by that time. Eventually, I should be able to get it down to 2650 while still having the AC, PS, all the interior panels, and two seats.

I want it to look relatively stock, be super light, and suprise a lot of people. That's pretty much what your car is and that's why I like it.

yeah i have seen your post with your car(s) as well lol. should be a pretty interesting if you hit the weight goals. I easily have a couple hundred pounds that I can take out still. Just need to spend some money.

I really need a video of my car idling now. I just played with the idle settings in EFI Live the other day and I really turned it into a new car at idle. My 12'' header extensions make it sound pretty good.

thanks everyone.

I'm going to find some old track videos with my car and post them in the other thread
