I'm moving this thread to the Stereo and Electronics section as we have additional BCM experts, who I expect can answer this more directly, who post more regularly in that section.

I would think the above posts would be correct because we have people who unplug the security sensors all the time without issues, when the sensors go bad.

Have you considered doing the free fix for this problem? Have you looked at the FAQ section and read the threads about the BCM fix? It sounds like you may have the common problem with the solder:

How to fix your radio/door locks/windows etc from flickering, cutting in/out

(Pic of affected solder in Post #22 of second thread.)

But the question is another if someone of you have try to change the bcm and use the remote without have the theft deterrent/alarm system.
The module is also expensive here in the United States. I can't remember the last time I heard of someone replacing the module and not performing the free fix I posted above.

The cracked solder issue that causes this problem is common to many different types of cars and will also occur in the stock radio, eventually. (When the radio solder cracks, the display will have problems.)

New BCM is inside.
No problem to set the VATS of my ignition key.
Works perfect.
The remotes works perfect without the alarm.

Many, many, many thanks to you all!
Ciao Belli!

I've see it now.
I am sure that the bcm on Rockauto are VAT virgin so you program your vats code at fist start.

You can send a message on rock or search it on e bay but you have to search a BCM with no vat code programmed inside.
