Default Double Din "install" Tell Me What You Think

ok 1st of all..this is not fully installed..its actually not even wired yet..i just wanted to see how its going to look when im finished with it (hopefully) i had to rip out the plastic mount where the stock radio sat on..if i didnt rip it out..the double din head unit would hit the ac duct and wouldnt go far enough to place the radio trim back on..so i had to.im going to have to get a mounting cage/sleeve for my double din head unit ,some sort of mount for the double din head unit to sit on, and some sort of brackets to hold it in place...but just let me know what you think of the pics...oh, and i still have more work to do on the trim

Looks nice... for some reason I think the double din set up seems to look a lot better in Camaros then T/As.

I had a doubledin setup in my 99 z28 and it's easier to make look good than the t/a's.

Looks good, what did you use to fill in the right and left edges? Was it just radio trim that was supplied with the h/u?

Yeah it looks really good, nice work.

I did the same thing, but used a dremel and sandpaper. I saved my old bezel just in case I decide to throw a double din in this new car. I really like the new clarion double din with the sweet ipod interface.

LOLzzzz!!!!!! It's not glittered at all it's graphite color with **** load of armor-all on it. But i do agree it does PoP and i don't dig it either. I'll be spraying it over with an OEM semi-gloss black soon.
