you know a GTP with 400whp will make you look silly in the 1/4? and there is quite a few of them and they actually still pass emissions tests see how easy it is to not be top dog? stop tooting your horn.

My 2 cents is that most cam only LS1's will have trouble with a well driven cobra. Heads/Cam geared LS1 is different and i would think it would be a pretty damn close race. This video shows otherwise so who knows.

I agree with you a h/c geared ls1 will be a good race with a pullied cobra. this particular one was not a very aggressive setup. I get tired of the arguments on here, every setup is different and races are what they are. we don't make up stories and we don't make up numbers. we post VIDEOS of our races and people still quesiton it.
whatever, I just wanna see this 400whp GTP beat a pullied cobra......

Nice runs. That H/C setup is kinda weak though. Only 420rwhp.
A buddy of mine has a H/C and full bolt ons and made 460 rwhp. His car runs mid 11s on slicks (with 12 bolt) and mid to upper 11s when on DRs. He traps anywhere from 122-124mph. His car is also a 6spd. (full weight car, no weight reduction).

I'm looking to go Trickflow heads and a BIG cam this spring on both my Camaro and TBSS. Hoping for at least 470 rwhp in the Camaro and 430 in the TBSS (AWD).

Weak? lol. Maybe the owner likes drivability and is not worried about what everyone elses buddies dyno numbers.

Lol. Nevermind that the car has H&R front springs, Koni DA's, and a 35mm front sway bar. I guess because it is setup to handle makes it weak because the front end doesn't raise up to the expectations of a drag racer... wtf?

From my understanding he built the car for drivability and he planned on spraying so if thats the case the car would roll out with a 100-150 shot.
