True, mid-13s the norm.

Link isn't working - what track was it? Times/tires? Stock tune? Oil temps?

Sorry - fixed - http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=186387

TWS -100miles west of houston
They dont do times on this event. Its kind of more of a just get your feet wet.
STock run flats - Boosted with the JB3 tune - outside temp was in the low 60s. Oil temp made it to about 255 during one of my real speedy sessions (and my car has an oil cooler).

Well I was gonna say mid 13s, but people on here seem to jump all over you when you claim good numbers for a car that isn't LS1-powered. But yes, they routinely run mid 13s, some lower. And a tune wakes them up really well.

Okay, I'll say it too. S197s can run mid 13s as well!

i've heard of some of those 335s trappin better than mid 13s...my car runs a 13.0 on anything less than a 1/4 tank and have had a 335 at my rear door from a dig...sounds like driver mod needed for that 335i

EDIT: saw it was an 07, one i got lined up with was an 08+, could be the difference

Beating poorly driven cars is nothing to brag about. If you honestly think a 335i will beat a properly driven C6 on a road course you need a reality check.

Like I said maybe I just had an instructor that was pushing me a little harder. I also said that bc these guys were having to mess with shifting, they were probably not going as hard in the turns.

he sticks up for everything besides F-bodies.

infact i really dont know why someone like him would even be on this site. he has had only a few posts that i can remember, and hardly ever brings anything to the Original Topics except things he reads on the internet.

he's on of those guys . . .

I'm glad you've been here for so long and research all my posts . As far as stuff I read on the internet, we're on the internet RIGHT NOW. So if I read about something here, I'm not allowed to talk about it somewhere else. Give me a break. Quite a bit of what I talk about comes from personal experience, and I'm actually unbiased. Something I can't say about a lot of the members here. And for the record, I don't "stick up" for anything. If somebody is on here talking about '03 Cobras running mid 13s, then I'll say something. I've been to 350Zforums.com (when they had a kill section) and corrected the misinformed when someone said an older 350Z was a driver's race with an LS1. So it doesn't matter what cars I've owned, or what cars are being discussed... if what is being said is untrue, then I'm going to say something. Sorry if that doesn't meet your approval.

all your doing is upsetting people.

"Upsetting people?" There are only a handful of people on this site that have ever done any bitching about me being on here, and they usually bitch about anybody that doesn't have an F-body or Corvette being a member. Two of them are in this thread. So I'll say it one more time; when I first joined I was looking for a WS6 or SS and had a motorcycle (hence the username). A couple weeks after I joined here I was in a motorcycle accident and was laid-up for a couple months, and I got hooked on the site. Couldn't find an F-body or GTO for the right price, so I got the Mustang. Traded the Mustang for the S2000. HUGE Corvette fan, still a big bike guy, I just happen to have an S2000 right now. Deal with it. Now enough of the .

Back on the subject, I'd really like to take one of those 335i's on. My buddy has one (mommy's wallet mod) and its an auto sedan. Beautiful car, yes, but he thinks my 00 Z M6 will be no match.. His is bone stock and mine just has an intake, bellow, lid, and soon to have LT's and either a catback or e-cutout.. God I can't wait til spring
