3.55s is dumb to do in that car, even if he goes FI. THe difference between 3.73s and 3.55s is pretty minor, so I can't see how that played a noticable part. The cobra probably has ~20rwhp advantage with a slight weight disadvantage. The T45s have 3650s have very similar gearing too.

Nice kill though, that's for sure. 2-3 lengths (from what I can tell) is pretty good.

BTW - the GT comes stock with a Tremec Tranny. They have for 20 years. And TB's typically do nothing for these cars. Ford did a good job with TB's on the modulars. I wouldn't waste my money on one unless I was going high HP.
This GT has a aftermarket Tremec TKO trans.

Oh....your post was a tad confusing simply because it stated tremec and that's factory.

Why is there a TKO in there?...which one?

T45s first gear is??? 3.30 I'd have to double check.....that's a high first gear paired with 4.30s and a blower.
It used to be my daily with 4.56's, detroit locker, 90/10's, no sway bar, and nittos. I drove around like that for about 2-3 years. Wasn't too bad actually. I took it off daily driving once the tubular front end was done and the bigs and littles came into the picture. But now I drive it on the weekends, beer runs, and to **** off any neighbors at 2am. lol

Oh and T45 is 3.37 1st gear. Its hella fun.

I knew you DD'd it for a while, just wasn't sure for how long. my only point is DD'ng it or even every other day with 4.10+, T45/3650 plus a blower......can't be too much fun. LOL No 1-2 gears. LOL

That's right....T45 is 3.37 and 3650 is 3.38. Those tranny gears are darn near identical. I knew it wasn't higher than 3.30.

If only they'd make a T56 with a 3.38 1st and 2.00 2nd but retained the .5 6th. Then you could run some crazy gears and not go deaf on the highway. Well I guess the tr-6060 in the G8 is the closed thing to that and it isn't go to be an easy swap into a new edge.

Damn are you a sadist? Props to you, but I don't think I'd daily drive a car like that. I live where it rains a lot though.

That's why I would stick with a 3650 for most applications and beef it up.

My driving habits did change a little but I got used to it. I'm in FL where in the summer months its like clock work after 4pm it rains. Ya my girlfriend at the time always rolled her eyes when my locker would sometimes engage/disengage out of nowhere. It was kinda funny to me. Or people would tell me my rear end sounds broke. I said naw, its supposed to sound like. Their like....

Driver mod dumdumdum.

That Cobra owner needs some practice for sure. Either that, or the girl filming weighed like 300 pounds.........
