REAR wheel hp. Most dyno 355-385 depending. Mine was 365/348 heat soaked. Bolt-ons 385/382. 91oct Diablo/CMR dyno tune 398/422. 96oct 413/432.
wow bro, i didnt expect to dyno so low stock, throw a vortech on it, my buddy has a SRT-8 Magnum and threw one of those on there and after tune i believe it was puttin out high 5's low 6's with supporting mods

Correct. Actually mine was stock back then (no CAI, exhaust work, or anything else, just a blaster coil and a thermostat) and I was coming home one night from a friends house maybe 5 mins from mine.
I turn out of his neighborhood and see lights about 1/4 mile back - thinking nothing of it. Head into my neighborhood and the lights are suddenly behind me (its a cop?) no but I do see it's Mustang headlights but I'm in no mood to run b/c it had dew outside so I just blast the streets and hope that I lose him. I pull out of the alleyways and up to my street - what do I see? A 98 Saleen S/C with his lights off, so I'm like "Crap I guess this is gonna happen then." I roll up and he says "you wanna run 'em?" "Sure I know a place." We head out and get onto the main street by us so I decide to head somewhere deserted so no one gets involved but us.
Bare in mind it's 2a.m. no one on the roads and a little dew. Well he decides he doesn't want to go anywhere else and pulls up next to me for a 40 roll. He honks it and we both take off at the same time, I mean we both were right on the ball, I look over and all I can hear is "EEEEEEEEeeeeeeeee" yet I am about a fender ahead. "Holy crap that thing is supercharged!?" (I couldn't tell for sure before) with each shift he gains a bit back on my fender, and his shift I gain it right back. We do this to about 90-95 and I start inching away in 4th.
Definitely was the greatest close race of my life esp. hearing that thing whine and know that I was still just ahead

The non pi motor mustangs didn't make **** for power is what they're saying (96-98 mustangs were non pi) So even with a s/c they didn't make much power due to the super restrictive h/c/i.. But the guy above i think was just comparing the 98 to 08. The 08 saleen s/c IS fast compared to the 98 saleen s/c.

ONOZ! If it makes you feel any better I've destroyed too many PI Mustangs. Oh and a supercharged PI mustang with a Roush charger on it in my Daily of all things.

And as Sarge says below......a 99-04 GT with a roush blower (along with 3.27optioned 99-04 Saleen S281SC), aint' **** either. My N/A mach would have taken one out.

agreed ponygt65, and to all you other guys on here thanks for posting, this thread got a lot more attention than i thought it would, will let you guys know when i find a real Saleen
