Sorry... beat, pull on, rape, lot of different terms can be used for different runs on hand fulls of full bolt on f-bodies/cobras to h/c f-bodies.
2001 was the first year of the z06 but they had the 385hp ls6. 2002-04 z06's had the 405hp ls6's. Also all z06's come with 6spd's only from the factory.

...funnyI think the outcome of the video is alright; the stalled Camaro was spinning and was putting less power than a Z06/more weight too and the 383 is a very mild setup.. nothing that scary here for a Z06.

If the 383 was real mild I could see this, some cars run and some just dont. I always try to convince ppl that stock C5Z06s are no joke but nobody believes me cause they have seen so many get beat by bolt-on cars or cam-only cars. It seems hard to find a fast C5Z06, I know they are but I used to murder those cars when i was trapping 117-118 and thats what they should do. To me they are like 03-04 cobras, some haul *** and some dont.

BTW: The 383 Camaro is a 1LE with crank windows, hard top.

The 383 stroker has a cam (23x intake 23x exhaust on a near 600 lift) and port and polished 853's.
Just to let you guys know I've ran several pullied Cobra's and beat them in my stock Z06. A well driven C5 Z06 is faster then people think.

bolt ons...and I won every time. A good driver should be able to crack
off low to mid 11's on a drag radial in a pullied Cobra.
