Just thought i would say.....I got RAPED by a yellow SS when i lived in ohio. I was on the highway and he got beside me and we did a 45 roll. i jumped a little bit and we ran to around 130ish and he had about 4 cars on me. And i wasnt granny shifting or anything. My car ran Mid 12s all day long and was really strong on the highway. I never got to talk to the guy or have ever seen the car again but WOW is all i got to say. Oh my car was a 99 SS M6

Stage 2 Cobalts are nothing to be afraid of. I ran my friends S/C Balt when I had my 07 Speed6 with a $20 Autozone filter and running open DP and I took him easily from 15-100mph when he started to pull on me finally and made up the 1.5-2 cars I had on him by 140 when we shut down.
...And an F-Body would've walked my Speed6 handily, I barely dipped into the 13s at the track stock and didn't even trap 97mph...
Don't forget, the LS1 NEVAR LOSEZZZZ!

I was nervous going up to it, the guy with it sounded pretty cocky. I heard him pulling into the parking lot we were meeting out and heard his S/C...like I said, im not gonna lie I was nervous I would loose.
Got onto the road and it was LS1 ALLLLLL the way....he then asked for a roll and it was LS1 ALLLLLL the way.....then he said he was thinking about selling his car for a WS6 lol.

I always get nervous before any type of race, no matter who im racing. I never brag or talk **** or say I will win. I always just say "Win or loose im just doing it for the fun of it" and they usually say the same back.

and me and him were in his car when it was stage 2 and we raced a Camaro Z28 i think 99 or 00 and we were dead nuts even from like 40-140.

Just watch out for the new SS /TC with mods. Some are putting down 350whp+ and 400 wtq+.
Yes these cars suck on the launch with stock shoes but slap on some sticky tires and hit 13's and 12's easily.
My HHR SS Stock had a crappy 2.64 60 ft launch and ET but the MPH was 99.4 MPH. Need tires.

And yes the turbo'd ones are the ones that will really get you.
Also my buddy ran a 14.00 with a 2.5 60' and his mph was 107 or so. With traction should be a friggin fast little car
