ROTFL ... you know how much preparation they had to do to get that stunt to work? Truck bed was raised, all the crap in the middle was cleared out, car was significantly shrinked, etc etc. Impossible to do in real life (go look at the underside of a big semi ... there is alot of bracing and other mean stuff you would not be getting past ... and our cars are too high.

It would be fun if you could tho ...

yep the bed was raised, but if you could do that, be a hell of a way to hide from radar fire from cops! example, imagine if Burt reynolds could do that in smokey and the bandit. Great Movie though!!

accually, ever since I saw the movie I knew the bed wuz raised and I could have swore there wuz suposed to be something like a frame going all the way back, but while doing a little cross country last year, I noticed about 95% of cemi's u couldnt do it to, but I did see a handfull that wuz accually cleared out underneath and high enough, allmost high enough for a mini truck to go under, I swear there are a few that it could be done to!

I've seen Clark Griswald do it in the family station wagon. I would think it would be no problem for an LS1. Give it a try and let me know your results. Better yet, I'll just read about it in the obituaries.
