Default z28 vs tb ss vs srt8 300

I'm driving around the other day just looking for a race when I see a tb ss up ahead so I spead up and see that's its a chick, and I start reving it. She didn't seem interested, until out of know where she floored it, she's about a car ahead when I notice. For a second I stayed right with her and was gettin scared. Soon after I started pulling hard. I pulled her by about 2 cars but it was more like 3 if you add her jump. I was very impressed with her car. Next I see a car coming up fast then start revving. Its a 300srt with at least an exaust and I'm assuming a superchip since it had that sticker in the window. We rolled from 45 to 110 I pulled him hard probably 4 or 5 cars we raced like 5 times with the same result, me pulling hard. Overall I was more impressed with the tb than the srt.

Good kills man, i had a small encounter with a SRT8 Charger. I didnt get to see how i wouldve faired against him, since im pretty much still stock but a truck swerved into my lane somewhat and back out, but enough for me to hit the brakes and not risk anything.

Nice kill but the SRT8 should be a much closer run than the TBSS but who knows these days.

I'm looking to buy an AWD SS in the next couple months once I can get ride of my CRB600 and save up a substantial down payment. CAI, electric fan, and tune puts them in a 13.5 @ 100 MPH range.. enough to hang with a stock LS1 and many other cars until 90 or so. Threads like this only re-enforce my decision.

Nice kills, OP.

superchips doesn't make a programer for the SRT-8, only the R/T. are you sure it wasn't an up-badged R/T?

From a stop you will see tbss tail lights quickly unless you have some drag radials and hope they hook with a hard launch.

it really looked like a srt i can tell the difference but my friend was the one that saw the superchip on the side window but it mightve been a rt but it did have the srt rims and it was lowered. and yes i wish more women bought fast cars and would race although my girlfriend does kill some sweet vtechs in her volvo lol.

Drivetrain loss favors the RWD. I want the AWD one. If my objective is simply speed, I'm not gonna handicap myself by adding 1000 lbs to the equation.

Sorry to hijack but you would be much better of saving up a few more dollars and getting the srt8 jeep instead of the tbss.

they also make a 300C 5.7 SRT Design which has all the SRT appearance and a SRT badge that reads SRT Design. who cares any way. you got a kill on whatever it was and that's more fun than what i get around here. so good kill. here is the link to the poser car

Actually they make a plug-in that has been proven ineffective for years. If the guy had that sticker on his window, then who knows.

OP: Did the 300 have silver painted Brembos?

That TBSS was STRONG!

It really all depends on your goal. If performance alone is your goal, the SRT-8 wins. The SS has a far greater towing capacity and overall utility.

The cheapest 2006 SRT-8 within 100 miles of me is 25,000. the Cheapest 2006 TBSS is 17,500. 43% difference. Those aren't skewed numbers either.. the difference is about 7-8K for similar mileage vehicles.

I thought the same thing but the 300 is even nicer then the C6 in build/interior. Very impressive to me.
