No, it's like spending a few grand to make an LT1 the same speed as a stock LS1

Hey I love my lt1 and it will be decently fast when put on a few more mods but ls1 are quite a bit faster stock than lt1s since they really underated the ls1. First time I raced
buddies auto lt1 ta against my stock 99 m6 ta ws6 I destroyed him so bad he wanted me to open the hood and check for the nitrous!

I came side by side a few months back with a new challenger and pretty sure it was an srt 8. I didn't see any side logos but now realize they are on the front grill and back spolier lip very subtle.

I was in my 99 ta and was just trying to break in the engine and was staying out of boost pretty much as didn't have my fuel system finished up. Just got the car running a few weeks before had to put it away for winter.

But it was a good feeling knowing I had even with the boost turned down maybe close to double the hp of that new challenger.
Still they are sharp looking cars I think and one might even be in my future.
Sure hope chysler sticks around they make some cool cars.
And yeah the challenger seems to be pretty heavy but the new camaro is going to also be pretty heavy. Wonder if its underated and how they will do against the srt 8 challengers?

I think the new Challengers look great and yes they are extremely heavy but o well it comes with good power and posts up decent times, and really they werent just thinking about drag racing when they built that car it has a very comfortable interior and are overall nice cars.
