I own both a WS6 T/A and an LS2 GTO. The Goat is a 6 speed and the WS6 is an A4. It was pretty much equal when they were both stock with the slight advantage to the WS6 from a dig. And whoever said the GTO weighs 4000 Lbs it is 3725 Lbs from the factory.

Sorry guys, or should I say F-body brothers, I just re-read my first post and I meant to say my orange TA pulls a half car through EACH of the first four gears. So by the top of fourth I was 2 to 3 cars ahead of my blue Goat. Either way I will pull any stock A4 Goat with my m6 TA period. It wasn't as close as I had originally stated. Now if there are any close to stock M6 goats in SD pm me and we can go play.

was wondering when the f-body's were gonna chime in. for some reason the GTO owners don't like the fact that they keep getting beat by the LS-1's. I do however wish I owned one as a daily driver cause they are nice but when I want to go fast, gotta get some LS-1... wait for it..... here they come

its probably the wooden rocking chair sound effects of an f-body that makes them seem so incredibly fast.

LOL actually I think its the other way aroubnd and f body owners dont want to believe that a LS2 GTO and an f body are a drivers race. Ive owned and raced both.

Necro, you're right about it being a drivers race. If my goat were a stick it would be as fast as the TA, real closer, or maybe quicker hard to say. And if my gto were a M6 and my TA was an A4 my TA gets owned, period. The ls2 engine is much more fun on the street, you can really feel the extra tq. I still want to run a m6 ls2 goat that's near stock in my TA for fun.
